International Calling

I am trying to wrap my mind around NANP and the way it tags a call as being "international" "local" "long distance”.

I have an issue where my provider needs me to strip the 011 from a call if I am tagging the call as "international" when it is sent out of the gateway.

I thought I could create a RP with 4011. and strip the "pre dot" but the call manager then recatgorizes the call as "National" instead of "international".

Can someone explain how this is normally setup?

Should I strip the 011 at the GW (H323), if so how do I do this?

if you have the dial-peer pots just make the destination pattern 9011T all the exact matches will be dropped, you can also modify the plan on the GW
