the basic is to make sure that all the partitions and calling search spaces are designed properly so that there is no possibility of calling between companies.

make sure the GWs are assigned to each company and that you understand the way they want to dial internally and to the PSTN.

Many thanks for the quick response. Is there any kind of document available that would show a demonstartion of how to carry this out?

we have none docs on how to configure multitenant on the server (as its more related to just a dial plan design), you can refer to the dial plan under the SRND

Dial Plan 4.X

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/4x/42dialpl.html

Dial Plan 6.X

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/6x/dialplan.html

in the end it's just as simple as making sure that phones from companyA cannot call phones from CompanyB by not adding the partition in the CSS
