CUE automated backup

Looking to backup CUE in an automated fashion taking into consideration security and best practices (i.e. storing passwords in clcear text and elevatedprivledges on router).

Has anyone done this or know of anyone who provides a 3rd party app todo so?

Paul,

One option is to use a product such as Kiwi CatTools to schedule the necessary commands on the CUE module to initiate the backup. I'm not sure how this product stores passwords, but you could certainly avoid transmitting passwords in clear text by using SSH. Also, you could use an account with limited privileges to login.
