MPLS Performance Criteria

Hi expert,

I may ask something that already discuss before. BTW, we have MPLS network and we would like to know if there is any white paper or etc documents that can give us some MPLS performance criteria to evaluate our network.

Refer Link below to measure the Perfomance of Each Router Types.

Identify the List of Routers installed in your Network and Validate against the Sheet provided. FYI, the MPLS is the Service Type. To Use the MPLS Services, we need some Routing Protocol to Support.

Identify what is the Type of Routing Protocol used in your Network and Understand the Network then Validate accordingly.

If i am not wrong in understanding your Question, you motto is to Validate ==> Perfomance of your Network with the Current Infra.. and Technology Used over it.

Hi Guru,

Thank you for your info. We have measure basic IP network performance such as RTD, Packet Loss, Optimal MTU Path, CPU loading, Interface Loading etc. We still looking specific criteria to measure our MPLS performance. Your documents is quite helpful to add more criteria to validate.
