Hi,
What kind of interfaces are you looking for -
10/100, 10/100/1000, Fiber?
Do you need a layer 2 switch or a layer 3 one?

Hi,
Have a look at this -
WS-CE500G-12TC - 8 10/100/1000Base-T ports and 4 10/100/1000Base-T or SFP ports.
You'llhave altogether 12 ports not more than that [8+4uplink =12].
ALso note that this is a GUI based switch, no CLI, no Telnet.

I personnaly don't like this switch. May be because I am more used to the CLI version.
Otherwise you can look at -
Cisco Catalyst 2960G-24TC-L - 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports, 4 of which are dual-purpose [no 12 port model available].

Hi,
I suggest the Cisco Express (if you need basic features with good price)
Cisco Catalyst Express 500G-12TC Switch :
Eight 10/100/1000BASE-T and four 10/100/1000BASE-T or SFP ports.
