Problem Understanding a log entry

Hi

I've having difficulty in narrowing down which switch is causing the following problem

Apr 25 16:14:50 10.1.example.com 241922: 25w0d: %CDP-4-DUPLEX_MISMATCH: duplex mismatch discovered on FastEthernet0/44 (not full duplex), with Site-4-SW-04 FastEthernet0/1 (full duplex).

Can somoen please tell me why the log says: 10.1.example.com instead of the switches full ip address? Is there a way to fix it.

Thanks

Dan

I believe "example.com" is in the default setup for a new switch. You should see that when you do "sh cdp nei" - the name is in the output.
