Mahesh,

This command is used to change the default broadcast address, which is 255.255.255.255.

Unless some devices connected to this interface don't recognized the default broadcast address, you really shouldn't need it.

Means I need not to carry forward this command unless it is requested by customer

Right?

and if you have any link to document please share with me so I can go through it in detail

Mahesh
