Hi
need some one help on port channel.
I was trying to trace a server port with a mac ex aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff
and from the switch i got the entry as
Switch (enable) sh cam aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff
* = Static Entry. + = Permanent Entry. # = System Entry. R = Router Entry.
X = Port Security Entry $ = Dot1x Security Entry
VLAN Dest MAC/Route Des [CoS] Destination Ports or VCs / [Protocol Type]
---- ------------------ ----- -------------------------------------------
529 aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff 6/10,7/20,8/3,9/22 [ALL]
Shows that this are 4 ports to form the port channle 6/10,7/2
0,8/3,9/22
But how do i know amoung this which one is phyiscaly connected to server NIC ./

Hi
Is the port channel configured between the switch and the server or there is a switch at the other end.If there is a switch at the other end u need to log in that switch and check for the mac-address.if not then u need to log into the server and check the mac-address assinged to each network interface.
Thanks
