I have configured 12 1522's using the 4400 controller to assign static IP addresses but they still seem to revert back to using DHCP after a time, has anyone else has this issue?

Please make the virtual interface address 1.1.1.1. Make your Management & AP Manager interfaces untagged (Make vlan 0, be sure that on the switchport it is trunked and native vlan is set to 1)

I will double check this today, I am sure the vi is set to 1.1.1.1 and the management and manager interfaces are untagged.

Can you elaborate as to why this may cause the AP's to DHCP?

Thanks for the reply.

Hello guys

This is a bug, the ID is CSCso00294.

The workaround is Always have a DHCP server installed in the network to support mesh AP.
