CCNA -> CCNP -> CCIE Storage ??

Unanswered Question

I noticed today that Cisco has listed the CCNA and CCNP as stepping stones to the CCIE Storage. Does anyone else find this interesting? I'm having a hard time figuring out how learning BGP will help a candidate to understand P-Nodes, arbitrated loops, zoning, etc.

I was hoping that Cisco would start an Associate and Professional certification specifically for storage. Have I missed the boat?

I have this problem too.

The BCMSN lightly touches on the data center design in the books. But I agree. The CCNP doesn't really do much to prep you for storage topics. I guess they were just tired of there being an empty spot on their matrix.
