I have a router with slips with the following config.
network-clock-participate slot 1
network-clock-select 1 E1 1/0
However the two controller for T1 as :
controller E1 1/0
controller E1 1/0/0
Should the text also include the
network-clock-select 1 E1 1/0/0 - i.e match the controller set up?
Does any one have step by step guide to clocking
From what I understand if I`m reading it correct the commends
network-clock-participate slot 1
network-clock-select 1 E1 1/0
The network-clock-participate means that the slot is involved in clocking i.e needs to look for it and the network-clock-select 1 is that the clocking comes from this source ?
On the Serial you can then have line, external, line primary etc- Does this then tell the E1 1/0 where to look for the clock source?
What is the commend if you wish for the clock to be from the internal bus i.e the rouetr provides the clocking to a telephone system
thanks

Hi,
it is strange that you cannot specify the controller correctly, that is E1 1/0/0.
Please send output of "show diag", "show controllers e1" and "show network-clocks".

Thanks for your reply
I added the commend xxxxxx E1 1/0/0 and it solved the problem
