LMS 3.0 database migration

Currently, I'm running Ciscoworks LMS 2.6 on Solaris 9. I'm planning to upgrade to LMS 3.0 on a Windows platform instead. It is possible to migrate the database, configuration and user account from Solaris 9 to Windows 2003.

You can migrate the user information from Solaris to Windows, but not the database. To migrate the user information, copy the /opt/CSCOpx/lib/classpath/com/cisco/nm/cmf/servlet/cwpass from the Solaris server to the same path under NMSROOT on the Windows server. Then restart dmgtd.
