Cable Modem Connect to Router 1812

Understand it needs to change the DSL modem to operate bridge mode when connecting to Cisco 1812 router via pppoe or pppoa. We will purchae a cable modem with one static IP addressin our company soon. I am not familar with cable modem. Should cable modem need to be configured? If yes, how to proceed?

It is greatly appriciated.

Hi, usually cable modem do not use PPP. Just configure ip address on router interface and the default route, that's all.
