Hold Music on CM

CM 4.2 - the hold scenario is "you are on hold...." plays 30 secs and loops

but sometimes the hold music does not play and leaves a blank space until it gets to "you are on hold........."

There is no pattern to this, sometimes the hold music will play - sometimes its blank

its the same wav file in the same place.....any ideas as to what may cause this, how to find out why or a solution

The CM 3.1 feature (Music On Hold) does not currently work with ISN... Try this bug CSCma11233

I think you have 3 choices to do --

1. - limp along without MOH until after hours

2. - reboot subscriber

3. - re-order MRG to put a different MOH server first, and reset the device pool.

internal or external calls?

how many moh servers? co-resident or standalone? server model??

unicast or multicast?

how many concurrent calls can be on hold at the same time on your system?

there is a chance you're running out of moh streams.
