Is there anything special that needs to be done for upgrading from CallManager 5.1 to 6.1? Any type of reconfiguration that will be required, or any data that will not be carried over?
From what I've been able to gather from the documentation, it's really just a straight upgrade, like applying a patch to CallManager 5, just wanted to make sure there's nothing we're missing.

Hi John,
Just to add a note to the good info from Jaime, I believe you need new Licenses as well even when going from CCM 5.x to 6.x,
Obtain licenses for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.1(1) before upgrading to this release. You must import your new licenses after upgrading to enable the system.

it is really straightforward as you mention, just verify the compatibility to make sure all is fine:
