ip multicast issue

I have muticast enabled between the two sites and (i think) after I implement an ACL for OSPF routes has blocked the multicast as well. When I do

show ip igmp group serial 0/0

IGMP Connected Group Membership

Group Address Interface Uptime Expires Last Reporter

224.0.1.40 Serial0/0 5d03h stopped 0.0.0.0

What does that stop mean? Do I need to allow multicast address range in my ACL, if so what range, my ACL look like this right now.

access-list 19 permit 10.0.0.0 0.0.255.255

access-list 19 permit 10.1.0.0 0.0.255.255

access-list 19 permit 10.18.80.0 0.0.7.0

access-list 19 permit 10.18.104.0 0.0.7.0

access-list 19 permit 10.65.9.0 0.0.0.255

224.0.1.40 is Auto-RP discovery.

your ACL has an implicit deny blocking this group, and I guess all other Multicast groups u need to have flowing.

if u are using auto RP, u need to allow 224.0.1.39 , 224.0.1.40 as well the multicast addresses u need to forward in your net.

The key point here, is that you have an implicit block after ur permit statements.
