HQ: CCM Cluster 5.1.2

WAN: 10MB circa 14ms rtt (no QoS)

Remote office: TBC

I have a requirement to replace the PBX in our remote office.

Would it be better to join the remote office to the current CCM cluster or simply put in place a CCME router?

What is required to add the remote office on the HQ CCM Cluster?

What OS does the current CCM Cluster need upgrading to accomodate remote office cluster server?

Can we implement 1-to-1 Video over IP without any further cisco infrastructure?

any comments welcomed..

you meet the RTT below 40 so you can use clustering over the WAN if you have a server to spare

IP Telephony Deployment Models

you need to install the server with the original media and maybe to install an SR or upgrade patch depending on the exact version because you need to match the PUBs exact version.

if this helps, please rate

Just make sure that out of 10 MB, 1.544 Mbps would be required for culstering over WAN.

This amount allows for the minimum of 900 kbps for ICCS and 644 kbps for database and other inter-server traffic.

How big is the remote PABX, you could use SRST upto 700 users in a single router or two router with dial-peers between them. If you lose the conenction between the remoe site SRST is better for DR as opposed clustering across the WAN- it depends on your WAN DR set up
