Hi everybody,

Anybody knows how Cisco measure the Max Optimized TCP connections? I ask this because one client have a software of Packeteer that measure over 40,000 TCP connections in one link of 2.048Mbps (In this link the WAAS solution will work). We only have one NME-WAE-502 and one WAE-612-2 for applications acceleration and according to Cisco documentation we only can optimized 500 TCP connections with this equipment.

TCP connection is defined as a connection that is being optimized, between a client and a server. This means that while there are three total connections (client-wae, wae-wae, wae-server) it is counted as one connection.
