Solved: Netflow and QoS

Hi,

We want to enable Netflow NDE in our PE router, but we also concern if any impact on our QoS. Is there any experience before ?

Hello,

I think that a NetFlow hasn't any impact on your QoS. I don't know what device do you using as your PE. I suppose that it is Cisco 7600 - this box has NetFlow implemented in ASIC (HW), so there is not any doubt. If you're using 7200 or similar netflow will use up to 20% of CPU, but it is not problem...

I am using netflow today on 7600, no impact what so ever.
