My CCME often has one or two DN get hung. No tones come out of the phone. I tried to remove the DN but got the message: 'DN 2 has active call on interface 50/0/2 CH1.Cannot unconfigure'. My only solution is to reload the CCME. Do you have any better ways to kill the active DN?
IOS version: c2801-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.XJ4.bin.

I believe it's an issue with phone FW.
Go on CCO CME area, locate and download CME124-4XC4.ZIP.
From there, extract P0030070T023.tar, and upgrade the 7940 with this firmware.
It's the only FW that never presented the problem in my case.

Every time this happens to the 7940G phones. I am using load 7960-7940 P00307020400.
