Utim does not start

Good day,

I've have a problem with installing Cisco Unity 4.2(1) on a stage of Telephony Integration with CUCM through UTIM.

The sense is that after all steps I've performed in according to the installation guide UTIM doesn't start while

I'm invoking it from the 'Start Menu' (nevertheless it's listed in the processes). Also I cannot do listing of system

folders (like Program Files of Winnt), Windows Explorer hangs.

My original goal is to install Unity 4.2(1) onto MCS-7825-I1-ECS1/IBM x306 (see spec in the attachment) in the VM

configuration w/o failover. I've homed {Unity + AD DC (Active Directory Domain Controller) + Exchange2000} on a single

abovementioned server. I have no PCD (Platform Configuration Disc), thus I've installed Windows2000 from retail Win2k disc.

Does anybody know what can be the problem ? Might it be better to change something in my configuration to avoid such a things ?
