The following error message appears in my cat4506-SupV-12.2(20)EW4

Following that CPU usage rises to 99%

I found that this issue happens when I plug an internet router to the 4500.

The output of the show adjacency summary command shows that the adjacency table for that interface goes beyond 30K adjacencies. Is there any way to solve this kind of issue? anybody knows how this adjacency table works?
