If you have say, 3 sites with their own call managers and you have emplyees who go between the sites. Can you set it up so that they have just one number, no matter which site they are on? Also can you set it up so that if they are working from home they use the same office number?

If the CUCM's are different, the databases are different so there is not a great way to have the same number between sites. However, there are some options. The best option is probably to use a feature called Single Number Reach (aka Cisco Unified Mobility, or in CME CallConnector). With this you can setup Site A to ring Site B and Site C when the primary number is called. This can be done for up to 10 sites or off-net numbers.
Another option is to use a dual-mode (like the Nokia Eseries) or a 7921G wireless phone. These could leverage the wifi and be registered back at the main site, but ring at any site when called.
