This is probably an easy question.
When i issue a terminal monitor command on a cat 6500, I am not getting info on link state changes.
ex.
%LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface FastEthernet0/1, changed state to up
%LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface FastEthernet0/1, changed state to down
I can not see anything using "debug interface ?" that jumps out as the obvious answer. Any ideas?
Thanks.

do u have snmp trap link-status configured under interface ?
SNMP needs to be activated in some cases, like this one.

This has to be done for each interface?
