CID (caller ID) Pass through on 5.1 ??

I've seen some other threads on this.. but all are old..

Environment:

> 5.1 CUCM box with a PRI to the PSTN.

When a call is forwarded to an extension off site [say cell phone], the incoming calls to that cell will display the Caller ID for the office extension.

We would like to see the original calling party's ID displayed on the [cell].

Since the UCM is originating a new call to the [cell] phone, I can't think of a way to override the CID info with that of the original caller...

Let me know if you have any ideas for a resolution.. or if we can resolve it at all…

Hi Sam,

Maybe try on the gateway setting the "Calling Party Selection" to originator. This should give the desired results. If that setting doesn't work maybe try the others in the list.
