Situation:
I have a PRI with 4 public DID numbers. The CO is sending 7 digits (all four numbers are completely discontiguous). These 4 numbers each need to go to 4 different CUE AA pilot numbers. I think they need to be translated. I'm not sure what the best approach is for this problem and what the detailed configuration should look like. Can anybody help.
This is one idea i had:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /5551234/ /301/
rule 2 /5552345/ /302/
rule 3 /5553456/ /303/
rule 4 /5554567/ /303/
voice translation-profile PSTN_CUEAA
translate called 1
dial-peer voice 5551234 pots
incoming called-number 5551234
translation-profile incoming PSTN_CUEAA
direct-inward-dial
dial-peer voice 5552345 pots
incoming called-number 5552345
translation-profile incoming PSTN_CUEAA
direct-inward-dial
dial-peer voice 5553456 pots
incoming called-number 5553456
translation-profile incoming PSTN_CUEAA
direct-inward-dial
dial-peer voice 5554567 pots
incoming called-number 5554567
translation-profile incoming PSTN_CUEAA
direct-inward-dial
dial-peer voice 300 voip
destination-pattern 30.
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:192.168.1.1
dtmf-relay sip-notify
codec g711ulaw
no vad
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, you can apply the translation-profile under voice-port. This way, you can do with a single DP:
incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial

Thanks again. But can you confirm the configuration below is correct with your suggestion:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /5551234/ /301/
rule 2 /5552345/ /302/
rule 3 /5553456/ /303/
rule 4 /5554567/ /303/
!
voice translation-profile PSTN_CUEAA
translate called 1
voice-port 1/0:23
translation-profile incoming PSTN_CUEAA
dial-peer voice 555 pots
incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial
dial-peer voice 300 voip
destination-pattern 30.
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:192.168.1.1
dtmf-relay sip-notify
codec g711ulaw
no vad
Also, can you help me to understand why the DP only has a '.' for the incoming called number? If the translation rule is in effect on the voice-port won't the dialed numbers be 301,302, and 303? Doesn't seem to match the '.'. I was thinking incoming called number 30. or 30[1-3]. Sorry to belabor this only for my understanding.
Great help again!!

Seems fine to me.
The DP with direct-inward-dial, simply means, "never give dialtone to who calls in from PSTN no matter what number has been called".
It should match 303 etc, because matching logic for "incoming called-number" are slightly different from the ones for "destination-pattern".
