Incoming caller ID

Hi Probably a really stupid question but....

I have CME everything is working fine however all incoming calls are showing up as unknown number. I have searched on google but all I could find was to use the caller-id enable command on the voice ports however the CME 4.2 I am using will not allow me to use this command, it just doesn't list it in the options. Any help would be great.

Do you have fxo lines? It doesn't "take it" under there ?

I have to incoming BRI lines please find my config attached. Thank you for your reply.

You should check "debug isdn q931" with "term mon" for an incoming call. check if the calling number is in there. If is not, complain to telco.

I can't see the incoming do you think this is the telco

Correct, telco is not sending calling number.

Hello;

basically you need to check few things here and this will determine your answer:

1. The FXO port that you have is it one that support caller-id functionality like the vic2-fxo-m1 or m2 modules.

2. Make sure your provider is sending out the caller ID on their end.

If these 2 are ok then you should not have a problem but you can do the following under the fx0 port (caller-id enable).

Thanks

JRB

He doesn't have fxo. He does have isdn bri.
