LMS Device Center DeviceID and dcma/devfiles

I thought DeviceID in Device Center matches up with the directory names in /var/adm/CSCOpx/files/rme/dcma/devfiles/, but just found out this is the case. Is there any way to match this up? Is the old dbreader method still the way to go?

RME uses its internal device ID to index files. This is not the same as the DCR ID. Direct access to devfiles is not recommended. You can use cwcli to get at the various versions of a config. See http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Network%20Infrastructure&topic=Network%20Management&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.2cc07403/0#selected_message for how to use cwcli to do this. There isn't a supported way of mapping the RME device ID to a device name.
