Catalyst 2960 Wont Take Policing Policy

Hi All,

I have a Cisco Catalyst 2960 running the LAN LITE image, im having problems applying an ingress policy to limit ingress bandwidth to 3mbps. On a 10Mbps link interface.

The sh policy-map int fa0/2 shows no packets being mached using the default-class or the 'IPALL' class ive setup.

I can copy my configuration snippets if you need.

None of the newer Catalysts (3560, 3750 or 2960) show counters for ingress policies. This is a well documented 'feature'. The command 'show mls qos interface statistics' is about the best you are going to get. There is a 'policer' counter at the bottom of the stats for each interface, showing 'in' and 'out' of profile.

Thank you. I wasnt aware of this 'feature' and I was scratching my head wondering why it wasnt working.
