I have an asa 5505 and an internal lan with printers that I want to bind with static ip address based on their mac.
The command syntax: ip dhcp pool ...
does not appear to work on the asa 5505. Does the 5505 not support this type of binding?
Thanks.

Ted,
That command is not supported in the ASA software - that's a router IOS command.
Also in the ASA - as far as I am aware, you cannot statically set a mac to a DHCP address.
HTH.
