Hi
For the switch each port is a separate collision domain. In switches there is no possibility of frames colliding with each other becoz each port on the switch represents a seprate collision domain.
Thanks

Lets say the pc connected to a switchport is sending frame & at the sametime a frame came to this pc on the same port. In this case, the 2 frames collide, but it doesnt impact any other pc's connected to the switch. thus each port is called a collision domain. You can overcome this with full-duplex configuration on switchport. With full-duplex, each port can send & recv simultaneously.
