MIB errors for HUM

Hello All,

We are currently using CiscoWorks Health and Utilization Monitor 1.0 in our network and before we were using the Patrol Dashboard product of BMC.

HUM is not supporting our devices IDSM and Net screen firewall ISG2000.

I have already read the Q&A pertaining to HUM on the Cisco website, which says that HUM does not support non-Cisco devices, but is there anyway to manually add Non-Cisco MIBS in HUM and then make the appropriate formula/collector. I tried to load the MIB using the built-in mib-manager in HUM but the operation failed.

After loading supported MIBs of the devices we are getting error to check dependent MIBs etc.

We have gone through the documentation and Cisco SNMP Object Navigator Tool for list of dependent MIBs (For IDSM-2 Modules), still we are unable to solve the problem and load the MIBs.

We are getting error (Unable to load the MIB file. Either you are trying to load an invalid MIB file or the dependant MIB files are not available in the path). We successfully managed to load the same Netscreen MIB in BMC Dashboard.

Also does HUM support flexible formulas in Custom Collectors like this:

average ( select cempmempoolfree ) / ( average ( select cempmempoolfree ) + average ( select cempmempoolused ) ) * 100

Any pointers regarding this would be very helpful.

Thanks in Advance

ashraf
