Hi,
I am wishing to update the PDM software to resolve JRE issue to 3.0(4). Is there a way to backup the existing 3.0(2) software to TFTP or something prior to the upgrade?

Is you tftp near/local to the firewall?
Also what type of firewall is it?

Yes I have local tftp access. It's an 515e

OK - try
fw1# copy flash: tftp:
Source filename []? pdmxx.bin
Address or name of remote host []? x.x.x.x
Destination filename [pdmxx.bin]? pdmxx.bin
