BGP manual Next hop modification

hi all, i read somewhere that we can use manual next hop modification in BGP instead of using next-hop-self command, how can we do that ?

You would apply a route-map outbound on an iBGP neighbor as follow:


router bgp xx

neighbor x.x.x.x remote-as xx

neighbor x.x.x.x update-source lo0

neighbor x.x.x.x route-map set-nh out

!

route-map set-nh permit 10

set ip next-hop

!
