BARS causing high CPU usage!

Hi experts,

RTMT always notifies me of high cpu usage on every 2am. After finding what application is causing it, I changed the sched of BARS to 3am just to be sure.

Just I suspected! It's really the BARS that's causing this high CPU notification!

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?

Cisco At 03:06:50 on 05/13/2008 on node x.x.x.x.

Processor load over 90 Percent.

System (20 percent) uses most of the CPU.

I would say is normal that BARS is consuming a lot of resources but 90% is a lot,

Some questions:

BARS version (If not latest go to latest one)

Process consuming High CPU during backup process? jave.exe, dllhost.exe...etc...

Make sure enough room in Backup device

Are you backing up CDR data as well?

If using AV ( is that a supported version)
