DHCP for WAN

Hello All,

I am tryig to setup a lab but need to know if I can use a ethernet port on my router to receive an ip address from my cable modem's ISP. I have 2 ethernet ports. I plan to use one for the LAN and one for the WAN. I know that I can set a static IP Address on the interface but need to receive one from a comcast DHCP Server. Thanks.

Yes, in certain configurations. (ie: ethernet, pppoa and some atm)
