I'm sorry but I can't understand none of your short words here. Thanks.

Communication Manager, Communications Manager Express. Do you have any of that or what do you have ?

Paolo Bevilacqua Wed, 05/14/2008 - 06:24

voice translation-profile makechange

translate called 100

voice translation-rule 100

rule 1 /12345678/ /87654321/

voice-port x/y

translation-profile incoming makechange

DP config as normal.

Should I configure a dialpeer after that configuration to make it work ? Or that's just another kind of dialpeer ?

godzilla0 Wed, 05/14/2008 - 08:46

Hi, I'm calling after doing what you said but it's not working, something to say ?

Paolo Bevilacqua Wed, 05/14/2008 - 08:55

"debug isdn q931" and if necessary "debug voip dialpeer". "term mon" as always when taking debugs.

Anytime I'm troubleshooting PRI's, I'll use a program from download.com, the PRI debugger. just go there and search for e1 or t1. Very useful to have one place (that's not scrolling) to see the call info on a PRI

Hello ! I have found that the number translation works, but it seems that the outgoing number does not match with any of my outgoing dialpeers. Can somebody explain what happens ? I'm posting a text with the error dump.

Thanks !

Paolo Bevilacqua Mon, 05/19/2008 - 02:44

Are you testing with csim? If so not it doesn't apply translation-rule so please use a regular call to test.

godzilla0 Mon, 05/19/2008 - 03:15

I'm sorry again but I don't know what you mean with csim, sorry !

godzilla0 Mon, 05/19/2008 - 03:34

Hello again. I did:

dial-peer voice 30 pots

description "prueba"

incoming called-number 600......

no digit-strip

direct-inward-dial

But I had no luck. It output the same errors.

godzilla0 Mon, 05/19/2008 - 04:06

Ok, I did:

dial-peer voice 30 pots

description "test"

destination-pattern 0600461448

port 7/7:D

--------------------------------------

The main config for number translation is:

voice translation-rule 100

rule 1 /935205502/ /0600461448/

!

!

voice translation-profile makechange

translate called 100

---------------------------------------------

And the dump is:

Is said DP up/up? That is the correct port ?

Noe you also need "no digit-strip" for DP 30.

godzilla0 Mon, 05/19/2008 - 04:29

That port works because it was already configured and this is a production router. I added no digit-strip but still not working.

godzilla0 Mon, 05/19/2008 - 06:14

Thanks, this is the dump:

2821_VPNServer#sh dialplan number 600461448

Macro Exp.: 5600461448

No match, result=-1

godzilla0 Mon, 05/19/2008 - 08:10

Could a dialpeer be down like an interface ?

I need to make this run . . . if misconfigured, could somebody please help ? Thanks.
