Cat500 Express connection to router

Unanswered Question

For current install, at a branch we have to connect a cat500 express directly into a router. The only problem is the provider (for MPLS) will not allow a router on a stick configuration in their managed router. So I have to do two seperate connections from the cat 500 (one for data vlan 1 and another for vlan 2 which is for voice). The problem is the only way to do this is by configuring the vlan 2 that connects to the rotuer as port as smart role of "server". And while connectivity is there, I get a constant alarm that port is not in correct role. I have validated that when you configure Cisco-voice vlan in the 500, the only two roles allowed are Cisco-phone-desktop or server.

While I have connectivity, i'm concerned that the switch might see incorrect port role and "not trust" the dscp markings.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any advise without adding any extra equipment to the mix?

thanks

I have this problem too.
