Hi,

I have two groups of ANI (calling numbers). "Group A" is 2102xxxx, "group B" is "3100xxxx"

I would like to config "group A" users to make IDD (A to Z) via carrier A

and

I would like to config "group B" users to make IDD (A to Z) via carrier B

two group of users call the same toll free number 8001234.

e.g.

21021234 makes an IDD call, he dials

"8001234 then, 0018861234567" --> carrier A

31001234 makes an IDD call, he dials

"8001234 then, 0018861234567" --> carrier B

I use the "answer-address" to control the incomimg ANI but I fail. any idea how to config the dial peer?

You can use two techniques: COR or "steering digits"

On the incoming DP with answer-address, configure either a COR, or translation-profile to add special digits in front of number.

On the outgoing, you create two DP. With cor, each one will have the proper cor setting. With steering digits, you modify destination-pattern to match the special digits, and again a translation-profile to strip the digits.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

It doesn't work because you need to apply one or the other technique I've suggested above, but your config doesn't.

Thanks

How to config "a COR, or translation-profile to add special digits in front of number"

I do not have any idea to config it.
