Hi all,
A customer plans to relocate a CUCM6.1 publisher to a new site with a new hardware and a new IP address. Hence, the IP address should be changed. According to replacing a single server or a cluster for CUCM 6, all subscribers should be reinstalled after replacing publisher. But, the IP address of publisher should remain unchanged.
Please advise what the procedures of relocating CUCM6.1 publisher are.
Thanks&Rgds,
YB

The method for changing a 6.x CCM Address in nicely detailed in this doc;

From this excellent doc;

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your reply. But, because I need to replace the hardware as well, I want to know what the correct sequence shoud be.
1. Change IP -> Replace hardware -> Reinstall subscribers
2. Replace hardware -> change IP -> Reinstall subscribers
3. Replace hardware -> Reinstall subscribers -> change IP
I'm not sure which option of the above 3 options is the best.
Please help.

Hi Bor,
Sorry I missed that :) My vote would be for #3. Make sure the re-build is successful and that replication is working properly before changing the IP.
