E1 voice PRI issue

hi,

I have configured my Voice enable E1 on cisco 2821 using 2 MFT E1 card.i want to use only 6 channels out of 31.for example i use only 6 channels that it is

pri-group timeslot 1-6

when channel 6 is busy and another call comes in it uses channel 7 but we only define timeslot 1-6.

why it uses timeslot 7 rather than channel 1.

This is because your telco has not configured just 6 channels like you did on the router. Talk to them and configure the router accordingly.
