I just did a search through the 3750 configuration guide for "switch 1 provision". But I don't find this line. Can someone please explain or point me to a reference? Thanks.

Its the numbering of the switches in the stack.

The 3750 switches are Stackable.

So if you add another switch to the stack using the Stackwise Cable, you will see something like this.

switch 1 provision ws-c3750-24ts

switch 2 provision ws-c3750g-24t

Now if you want to remove the switch from the stack, you disconnect it and do a

"no switch 2 provision ws-c3750-24ts"

This will remove the port configurations for the second switch.

If you only have 1 switch, its normal to see this displayed.
