i already have db60 back to back

what i am saying is the 2600xm has a smart serial module (flat USB type)

How can i connect that to another router which has wic 1t module(db 60 female)

which one do i use

2 types of DB60 to Smart Serial cables, one with DB60 DCE interface and one with DB60 DTE

Hi There

I have answered this question in your other post "Home labs on Cisco"

Basically you have 2 options.

a. SS/DCE to DB60/DTE back to back cable

b. SS/DTE to DB60/DTE back to back cable

see http://dantrakuk.com/index.htm (I live in Ireland, so UK is closer to me adn I buy most of my serial cables from this supplier).

Which one you buy will depend on which router will provide the clocking on the link (Be the DCE).

There is some more information in the other post.

Best Regards,
