Solved: Switch port count summary per vlan

Dear NetPros,

For a 6509 switch with 7 48 port line cards, is there a quick way to count how many switch ports are belonged to which vlan? Counting them line by line from "show vlan" result is kind of too slow.

Try the following command:

show run | i switchport access vlan #

Replace the # with the vlan number and parse the output onto Excel. On Excel, the row count should give you the total switchports on that Vlan.
