Is there any benefit to compressing the control traffic o\ver the WAN. Have a customer who is investigating WAN acceleration boxes and would like to know if compressin VoIP control traffic is beneficial.

Paul,
I`m also looking for a similar answer for Call Control in addition is there any min. delay requirements for call control only. Due to various reason we may be deploying a solution with call control only across the WAN using very small links and at worst VAST links. Can you compress Call Control via CRTP commend ?
