I have a CER 1.3(1a) that has been up and running for 8 months with almost a 1000 phones defined and various types of Switches that the phones are plugged into. Today I tried adding a new WS-C4506-E (first one in the network) and the CER could not find any of its ports. Its SNMP configs were the same as in other switches. In the application event log of the CER server there were entries every time a switch-port update was done saying "Wed May 14 14:00:49 2008 : This device is not supported 192.168.254.32" I upgraded and downgraded the IOS in the 4500 SUP IV but that has no effect.

The support for WS-C4506-E is added in CER 7.0 only.
