as-path prepend

Hi there

When you use as-path prepend, and you are adding an as-path multiple times, why is this not concidered as a loop, after all you will have the same AS number appearing

multiple times

An AS-PATH loop occurs when a BGP router received an update from a remote AS with its own AS in the AS path.

Seeing a given AS more than once in an AS path is not a AS loop unless it is has been it your own.
