Hiiii
vtp client is not updated from vtp server inspite of having same domain name and lower revision configuration no. of client. could not understand what is the issue...
ur suggestion will be highly appreciated..

Hello, is the trunk UP? Also chk if there is a password configured for vtp domain. Assuming the other switch is configured as client & not transparent.

Hiii, yes the trunk is on and there is no password configured and other switch is in server name.its only one switch in client mode which is not updated by server others are getting updated..any thoughts

Try stripping out the vtp domain name and re inputting it.

already tried this resulting the config revision no. to 0.bt still its not updating

Hi
Try making a new vlan on the server and deleting it to generate a couple of updates, and see if that makes any difference.

This looks ok. have you run a debug to chk vtp synchronisation?
