12012 maximum performance issue

hello there. does anybody know if 12012 router can proceed about 1 Gb/s traffic peering BGP to 2 another AS? what card are suitable for 12012 router this 2 bgp connection? could it perform also to 10Gb/s for future bandwidth upstream upgrade? anyway tq. how about PRP? is it suits to old chassis and old card installed on the 12012 chassis? tq
