Changing Out a FXO for a FXS on the UC520

I need to change a FXO for a FXS in the UC520 is this hotswappable or do I need to power down first. Also should the UC520 seeit automaticallyor should I need to assign it? I am new to this so I value any help.

You can only replace the VIC card. It's not hotswappable. It gets recognized automatically.
